How do I book a home?
There is no online booking or payment on the site. Choose the home, your dates and the number of guests and send the request on WhatsApp or by email: the message is pre-filled. We reply with availability and price, and we arrange confirmation and payment directly with you.
Is the price shown the final price?
"From" is the indicative price per night. The final price depends on the season, the length of stay and the number of guests: we confirm it in writing before you commit to anything.
Where are the homes?
In Rivisondoli (L'Aquila), in Alto Sangro, between Roccaraso and Pescocostanzo. The Monte Pratello lifts are a few minutes' drive away and the Aremogna slopes are an easy day out.
How do I get to Alto Sangro?
By car: from Rome and Pescara take the A25 motorway (Pratola Peligna-Sulmona exit) and then the SS17 towards Roccaraso; from Naples go via Isernia and Castel di Sangro. In season there are also direct coaches from Rome and Naples to Roccaraso: check times and stops with the operators.
Do I need winter tyres or snow chains?
Yes. On mountain roads in winter, winter tyres or snow chains on board are compulsory. Check the weather before you leave: the forecast for Rivisondoli is on our home page.
Are pets allowed?
It depends on the home. Mention it in your request and we'll reply straight away; each home page lists all its amenities.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
We agree them with you when we confirm the stay. If you're arriving late in the evening, let us know and we'll sort it out together.
When is the best time to visit?
December to March for skiing (snow permitting), 5 January for the Rivisondoli Living Nativity, June to September for trails, cool air and meadows. Spring and autumn are quiet and perfect for the villages and good food.
