Alto Sangro brings together Aremogna, Pizzalto and Monte Pratello: more than one hundred kilometres of runs between 1,400 metres and the 2,140 metres of Toppe del Tesoro, linked and covered by the Alto Sangro ski pass. There are nursery slopes for beginners, wide runs for intermediates, blacks for thrill-seekers, a snowpark and cross-country loops. Snowmaking helps keep the season going.
On a ski holiday you spend a lot of time indoors: long breakfasts, boots drying, dinners with friends. An entire home gives you a kitchen, space and your own schedule, and often costs less than several hotel rooms.
Usually from December to late March or early April, depending on the snow. The ski area announces the lift opening dates each season.
Yes: in winter, winter tyres or snow chains on board are compulsory on mountain roads. Always check the weather before setting off.
